About Us Dance Contours is a unique dance studio. Our goal is to help our students reach their goals through the art of dance. Whether that goal is the perfect pirouette, improved posture, better physical condition, or to simply learn to dance, we are here to guide you each "step" of the way. Our approach to dance instruction makes learning easy. Our style of teaching includes imagery, positive reinforcement and recognition of accomplishments, coupled with discipline and respect for self and others. We want all ages and levels to feel comfortable and welcome. Through dance instruction, we instill in our students, skills they will use beyond the stage and studio. Our classes help build confidence, character, social skills and self-esteem, while improving coordination, rhythm, balance, strength, and flexibility. Jennifer Magnotta - Over 10 years experience teaching dance, including dance schools in Northeastern Pennsylvania & Virginia
- Certified Member of Dance Educators of America
- Over 25 years formal dance training including studies in ballet, jazz, tap, modern, hip hop & lyrical
- Studied with several studios throughout Northeast PA, in addition to Steps on Broadway, New York, NY; Broadway Dance Center, New York, NY; Central California Ballet, Fresno, CA; Virginia Ballet Theatre, Norfolk, VA; and Conventions with Dance Educators of America, The Edge Performing Arts Center and Dance Olympus
- Served as a Summer Artist in Residence at the Deutsch Institute, PA
- Completed Master Classes with various professional artists such as David Howard, Frank Hatchett, Robbie Mackey & Debbie Dee.
- NCA All-American Cheerleader Nominee
- Cheerleader at both high school and college levels
- Currently working toward Nutrition & Wellness Consultant Certification with American Fitness Professionals & Associates
